What is the difference between Guilt & Conviction?

What do you think is the difference between guilt and conviction?  Are they one and the same?  Please share your thoughts and I will share mine by the end of the week!

    My name is Emma Furguson, you have asked a very interesting question. Guilt is not always justified, sometimes we fee guilty over something that we have imagined for an example, we may have said something to someone, we feel guilty we have upset that person. But, in reality that person didn’t feel upset at all. We can carry that guilt for a long time, even though we are innocent. Conviction, to me is when you are convicted, you are guilty and have been proven guilty, but you don’t always have to feel guilty you could be completely convicted in your actions. And, therefore feel innocent.

    1. Hey Emma 🙂 interesting what you wrote here about the guilt “we can carry that guilt for a long time, even though we are innocent.”. I find that true too. Do you mean even though we’ve changed our ways or apologized?
